Certification methodology for graduates of accredited IACPS training programs

Chapter I - General Provisions

Article 1

  1. The International Association of Communication Psychology and Psychoeducation, hereinafter referred to as IACPS, has the right and the obligation to certify the graduates of IACPS accredited training programs.
  2. The person who collectively fulfills the following requirements is considered a graduate:
    • a) having attended an accredited IACPS training program;
    • b) having completed the training program in accordance with conditions imposed by the training provider;
    • c) being enrolled by the training provider as an IACPS accredited training graduate.
  3. IACPS issues graduation certificates, customized according to the type of graduate program. All certificates have security features and are registered in the IACPS graduate register.

Chapter II - Certification of graduates of accredited IACPS programs

Article 2

  1. Being graduate can only be achieved by completing an IACPS accredited training program.
  2. Upon completion of the accredited training program, the training provider shall register, within 10 working days of the completion of the program, the IACPS graduate(s), providing the following data:
    • a) full name;
    • b) graduated training program;
    • c) the program period.
  3. Upon registration of the graduate(s) in the IACPS database, the IACPS sends an individualized access code to the training provider, which they shall pass on to the graduate, within 2 working days of the generation and transmission.
  4. To become an accredited IACPS graduate, the graduate of a training program, shall access the platform www.iacps@ia-cps.org, the Graduate Certification section and shall log in to the exam platform, solely based on the access code received from the training provider.
  5. The graduate has the right to take the test within 90 calendar days from the completion of the course.
  6. In order to get the IACPS accreditation certificate, the graduate must promote the exam by obtaining a minimum grade of 6. If the graduate does not get the minimum grade, he / she can re-take the exam after at least 5 working days, having the obligation to prepare for the examination. A graduate has the right to take the IACPS exam up to 4 times.
  7. The graduate who has passed the IACPS exam with a minimum grade 6, obtains the IACPS graduate certificate (Annex 1).

Article 3

  1. The IACPS graduation certificate is made available to the graduate on the www.iacps@ia-cps.orgplatform, the Graduate Certification section, within 5 working days of the promotion of the IACPS evaluation.
  2. The validity of the IACPS Graduate Certificate is not time-limited.
  3. The examination and certification of graduates of accredited IACPS programs is made free of charge, the graduate having no financial obligation towards IACPS.
  4. IACPS shall record the identification data of the certificate in the IACPS register, which may be verified by third parties to prove the IACPS certified status.

Chapter III - Certification of accredited IACPS trainers

Article 4

  1. One may become IACPS accredited trainer only by completing an IACPS accredited training program in a specific area of the Psychology of Communication.
  2. Upon completion of the accredited training program, the training provider shall register, within 10 working days of the completion of the program, the IACPS graduate(s), providing the following data:
    • a) full name;
    • b) graduated training program;
    • c) the program period.
  3. Upon registration of the graduate(s) in the IACPS database, the IACPS sends an individualized access code to the training provider, which they shall pass on to the graduate, within 2 working days of the generation and transmission.

Article 5

  1. To obtain the IACPS accredited trainer certificate, the graduate must promote the IACPS exam.
  2. In the case of accredited IACPS training programs for the training of trainers, based on specific procedures, the training provider may be accredited by IACPS as assessment center. On the www.iacps@ia-cps.org platform, Program Accreditation section, Check accreditation, you can check whether an accredited training provider is an assessment center.
  3. When completing an IACPS accredited program, where the provider also has accreditation as an Assessment Center, the graduate enters the provider's platform, based on the personalized access code, and then takes the exam. The exam platform of the accredited training provider is connected to the IACPS platform.
  4. The graduate has the right to take the test within 90 calendar days from the completion of the course.
  5. In order to obtain the IACPS accreditation certificate, the graduate must promote the exam by obtaining a minimum grade of 6. If the graduate does not get the minimum grade, he / she can re-take the exam after at least 5 working days, having the obligation to prepare for the examination. A graduate has the right to take the IACPS exam up to 4 times.
  6. The graduate who has passed the IACPS exam with a minimum grade 6, obtains the IACPS trainer certificate (Annex 1).

Article 6

  1. The IACPS accredited trainer certificate is made available to the graduate on the platform, of the accredited training provider, within 5 working days of the promotion of the IACPS evaluation.
  2. The training provider has the obligation to record the identification data of the certificate on thewww.iacps@ia-cps.org platform, the Training Providers section within 5 business days of the individual's IACPS graduation.
  3. The validity of the IACPS Trainer Certificate is not time-limited.
  4. The examination and certification of graduates of accredited IACPS programs is made free of charge, the graduate having no financial obligation towards IACPS.
  5. IACPS shall record the identification data of the certificate in the IACPS register, which may be verified by third parties to prove the IACPS certified status.

Article 7

If a person has completed an IACPS accredited training program, but the training provider is not also accredited as an assessment center, the examination and certification shall be carried out in accordance with the procedure described under Art. 2 and art. 3 of this methodology.

Final provisions

Article 8

  1. This methodology is supplemented by the annexes which set out:
    • a) Annex 1- IACPS graduate certificate model;
    • b) Annex 2 - IACPS accredited trainer certificate model;
  2. The certification methodology of IACPS accredited program graduates completes the IACPS Accreditation Methodology.

Article 9

  1. IACPS is a nonprofit professional organization. (4) The examination and certification of graduates of accredited IACPS programs is made free of charge, the graduate having no financial obligation towards IACPS.
  2. The IACPS graduation certificate, respectively the IACPS accredited trainer's certificate, is sent electronically, by secure means, to the graduate. If the graduate asks for certification in printed form, with IACPS security features and stamp / seal, he/she undertakes to pay for its expedition.
