About IACPS

IACPS is the most important scientific and professional organization that represents globally the psychology of communication, gathering under its umbrella researchers and professors who have put their professional life at the service of this field, as well as students who want to be trained and evolve.

Our mision

Our mission is to encourage the creation, innovation, transmission and application of vast knowledge in the field of the psychology of communication in order to increase the quality of life of people, their communities and society as a whole. We manage to do that by:

  • Establishing a professional community where scientific information can be easily and effectively disseminated.
  • Facilitating access to verified information, rigorously proven, scientifically validated by specialists with expertise in the field.
  • Improving the skills and competencies of specialists in the psychology of communication by setting high standards of training as well as ethics and professional conduct.
  • Promoting and supporting research in the psychology of communication by improving research conditions, adapting methods and applying research results.
  • Encouraging innovation, developing the field of the psychology of communication, on the principle: we can always do more and better!

Strategic Plan

IACPS aims to excel as an effective, influential scientific organization to strengthen the status of science of the psychology of communication. We seek to promote excellence, diversity, and put them at the service of people and society.

  • the creation of an international network of trainers specializing in the psychology of communication. They are rigorously selected, starting from:
    • initial training that must be of high quality;
    • their aptitudes, that distinguish between mediocrity and excellence;
    • the motivation that can cause the channeling of all personal and professional resources.
  • providing a framework for training in the psychology of communication, governed by the scientific information disseminated only by qualified and competent persons.
